Like most toy breeds, Yorkies are well suited to apartment or city living. Despite their small bodies, they make excellent watchdogs, barking at the first sign of an intruder. Though long, the Yorkie's coat is silky, making it easy to maintain with regular brushing. Minimal shedding and grooming.
