The Westie Pug or Pugland is a designer hybrid mix between a West Highland Terrier and a Pug. As with purebred Pugs, the Westie Pug may be sensitive to the tone of your voice, so harsh punishment is unnecessary and training is not difficult. They need an owner who is consistent, yet gentle. Though small, this mix tends to make a good watchdog as they are loyal and alert.

As with most breeds, the Westie Pug needs a daily walk. Their coat is easy to maintain by a regular brushing. Bathe only as needed.
