Like other terriers that originated in England, the Westie was bred to hunt small animals and endure the harsh weather and rugged terrain. They are hardy, persistent, fearless and alert. Westies generally behave well with children and are a good pet for almost any lifestyle. Very little shedding. Minimal grooming required. AVERAGE WEIGHT: 15-22 lbs. |
