A Schnorkie is the result of crossing purebred Schnauzers and Yorkshire Terriers. They have characteristics from and resemble both of the breeds. The Schnorkie tends to be highly energetic, brave, loyal and clever. They are affectionate with their masters, but sometimes suspicious of strangers.

These dogs are non shedding and usually good for allergy sufferers.

Schnorkies are a good dog for apartment life. They are fairly active indoors and will do okay without a yard, but do need a brisk daily walk.
