The Pooton is a mix between the Coton De Tulear and the Poodle. This gentle, well behaved breed is good for most families. The coat is long and can be fluffy or curly. The coat needs to be combed daily, bathed regularly and may need to be clipped occasionally.

Pootons are intelligent, gentle and friendly. They get along well with children and other animals when they are raised together. Intelligent and full of tricks and surprise, one of a Pooton's most endearing traits is a tendency to jump and walk on their hind legs. Poo-Tons respond well to patient, consistent training.

This breed needs regular exercise.The Pooton does best when they have a daily walk. They will also enjoy a good romp in a safe open area off lead, such as a large fenced in yard.
