This hybrid mix between a pomeranian and silky terrier is know as the Pom-silky for short, and is a lively little dog. Intelligent, eager to learn, very loyal to its handler and family. Despite its small size, the Pom-silky is a docile dog and is watchful and protective. Normally these dogs are good with children if they are raised with them. They display a strong attachment to their family.

Pom-silkies require regular grooming and display the best behavior when they receive sufficent exercise.
