The Peke-a-shi (also known as Shinese or Shihese) is a hybird mix of at Pekingese and a Shih Tzu. They are happy, hardy, alert and spunky. Peke-a-shi are couragous and protective of their masters. They make a dependable watch dog.

Children must be polite and gentle with this breed. Peke-a-shi need regular grooming and excerise, and care must be taken not to overfeed.
