Though its exact origins are uncertain, one theory is that the Old English Sheepdog descended from a Russian dog called the Owtchar. Whatever the origin, it is one of the most outstanding breeds in appearance. A flowing coat and hidden eyes make it a much sought after companion. A choice family pet, they have a gentle nature and an excellent disposition with children. Minimal shedding but does require regular grooming. AVERAGE WEIGHT: 60-65 lbs. |
