Bred from the Standard Schnauzer in Germany, the Miniature possesses all the traits of an ideal family dog. Miniature Schnauzers are loyal, affectionate, good with childre and serve well as watchdogs, barking at the first sign of an intruder. This breed does not shed and is great for those with dander allergies. The Schnauzer does require regular grooming.
