The Mauxie is a mixed breed cross between a Maltese and a Dachshund. They tend to by lively fun companion dogs who need a master who is not afraid to make it clear that they are the pack leader. Mauxies are Good for apartment living. They are fairly active indoors and will do okay without a yard. They do need to be walked daily and will also enjoy sessions of play in the park or other safe open areas. They should be discouraged from jumping. AVERAGE WEIGHT: 6-11 lbs. |
