Once used on canal and river barges in the Netherlands, the Keeshond is the unofficial national dog of Holland. The same characteristics that allowed them to adapt to life on a small boat also make them well suited to apartment and city dwelling. The Keeshond's personality is lively and even tempered. They are devoted to their owner and alert as a watchdog. AVERAGE WEIGHT: 55-65 lbs. |
