The Doxie Pin is not a purebred dog. It is a designer cross between the Dachshund and the Miniature Pinscher. The Doxie Pin tends to be a hardy little fellow, who is proud, and courageous. They are intelligent and loyal to their masters, spirited and alert, with high energy. Generally good with other pets and children so long as the humans provide proper leadership. Their behavior depends greatly upon how you treat them.

As with all dogs they are best served by a daily walk. Grooming for this hybrid is minimal.
