The Cockalier is a cross between the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and the Cocker Spaniel.

The Cockalier is an eager, affectionate tail-wagger. Lively, outgoing and sportive. Usually good with children, they are lively, playful and devoted, but should be socialized well when they are young to avoid a tendency for shyness.

Cockaliers require regular grooming and need to be made warm and dry following a bath.
