The ChiChi is not a purebred dog. It is a designer cross between the Chihuahua and the Chinese Crested. This breed tends to be cheerful, smart and lovable. As long as the dogs are well socialized and exposed to noise when they are puppies, they will be freindly, and do well with children and other pets. Don't let children be rough with this breed, though they are accepting of kids, they may not have the full protective coats that most dogs have.

ChiChis need lots of exercise and a daily walk.

Depending on whether your ChiChi is a hairless or powderpuff variety, they will require different grooming. The power puff will need to be gently brushed, while the hairless variety will need to be bathed, and have lotion or oil applied to prevent skin irritations.
