Named for the rock piles that mark property lines in Scotland, the Cairn breed was developed to hunt fox and small animals hiding in the cairns. The most famous Cairn Terrier was "Toto" from "The Wizard of Oz." With their sturdy frame and lively personality, they can make an excellent pet for children. These dogs have minimal odor and shedding. They require minimal grooming. AVERAGE WEIGHT: 13-18 lbs. |
